They met by a river that doesn't exist, fell for each other under stars we made up, and now they'd love your company among the ferns.
Everything here is a charming fabrication - the venue, the menu, even the weather forecast (a flawless 72°F, naturally). The warmth, however, is real. Come pretend with us.
The order of the day
Schedule
- 3:30 PM
Arrival & Welcome Garlands
Wander in through the fern gate. We'll have sparkling elderflower and a wildflower crown for anyone brave enough.
- 4:30 PM
The Ceremony
Vows beneath the Great Oak (it has a name: Mortimer). Bring tissues - we hear Mortimer is very moving.
- 5:15 PM
Golden-Hour Mingling
Photos, lawn games, and a suspiciously photogenic mushroom grove. Canapés roam freely.
- 6:30 PM
Woodland Feast
A long-table dinner under a thousand fairy lights. Toasts will be sentimental and only mildly embarrassing.
- 8:30 PM
First Dance & Dancing
The band strikes up, the moss glows, and the dance floor opens until the fireflies clock out.
- 11:00 PM
Lantern Send-Off
We part ways by lantern light with one last round of toasted marshmallows for the road.

Getting to the woods
Travel & Stay
By air
Fly into Neverwhere International (NVR), a brisk 40-minute drive from the valley. Shuttle service runs all afternoon.
By road
Follow the Old Mossway until the pavement gives up. Free parking among the pines; carpooling earns you good forest karma.
Where to stay
We've held a block at the Enchanted Forest Resort and the cozier Toadstool Inn. Mention 'Sam & Alex' for the make-believe rate.

Wait - is this a real wedding?
Not even slightly. Sam and Alex are lovingly invented, the Enchanted Forest Resort is a figment, and Mortimer the Oak has never paid taxes. It's a Celebration of Imaginary Love, built for the joy of it.
What should I wear?
Black-tie optional, garden-formal at heart. Think florals, earthy tones, and shoes that can negotiate a moss path. Heels and dew are ancient enemies.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Absolutely - your RSVP lets you set your party size up to eight imaginary humans. Real ones welcome too, if you can find any.
Is the venue accessible?
Our fictional forest has very real intentions: step-free paths, accessible restrooms, and reserved seating. Tell us in your RSVP note and we'll arrange the magic.
Will there be vegetarian options?
Yes. The Forager's plate is fully plant-based, and we can accommodate most dietary needs - just mention them when you reply.
What's the weather like in June?
A scientifically impossible and perfectly reliable 72°F with a light breeze. We negotiated this directly with the imaginary clouds.
